I am sooooo tired! Little Miss Ashley decided she didn't want to sleep in her bassinet at all last night.. nope she wanted to sleep on mommy.. so guess where she slept?? Thats right.. on mommy!! I am so beat and of course shes not so shes just taking her normal 5-10 minute cat naps all day.. I'm ready for Friday LOL.. thats when hubby can get up at night to help me a bit so I can sleep.
My MIL's friend stopped in over the weekend to see Ashley and somehow.. maybe it was because I was watching Celebrity Paranormal Project but we got on to talk ing about ghosts and spirits. She told me about when she was younger.. it was a time when someone passed away they left them I guess in the casket in their home.. and she was upstairs and heard whistling.. like her grandmother always did.. she ran downstairs and it was quiet but she was even more freaked since her grandmothers body lay right there.. I couldn't even imagine that in this day and age but then I shared my story. I don't know how many of you believe in spirits and all that jazz but I never did and I still find it hard to except for something that happened to me. One of our local radio stations is 99.9 The Hawk.. well it used to be Oldies 99.. and that is ALL my dad would listen to, if you changed the station he would flip. Well one night Dave and I were driving to go visit my mom.. it was dark and we were on a back road with 99.9 The Hawk on.. well next thing you know the radio tunes out.. we figured it was cause of the back road but then next thing you know it comes back on and we hear the jingle.. "Oldies 99.9" and an Elvis song started... after about 45 seconds the radio tunes out again and comes back to 99.9 The Hawk.. I was so freaked out and when we finally got to my moms I told her about it and she was in shock! To this day I try to find some kind of explanation for it but I honestly can't.. and if someone would ask me do I believe in ghosts I would say no but I believe that somehow for some reason my dad wanted to send me some kind of sign that night that he was still with me.
Anyway I just had to share that since its been on my mind again. My hubby has fire practice tonight so if Ashley dozes off at all this evening I will try to get over to some of my favorite bloggers!! Hope you all have a wonderful week!
