Hey everyone! Its been so long! I've been so busy that the only time I get online is to either balance the checkbook and pay bills or update my daughters blog which doesn't even happen often. I am hoping to get back into some of the daily memes.. I really miss doing them. Maybe just once a week for now LOL Anyway I will be back again soon I hope! I'm not sure if anyone even stops by here anymore but I am sure you will once I get back to visiting you all!! :)

5. What do you do to get rid of a cold or flu? other then seeing the doc.. I typically have to see a doc as soon as I get sick or else I get bronchitis.. other then that though.. I eat good ole chicken noodle soup, warm oatmeal, gargle with salt water, rinse my nose with saline spray and pray it goes away! LOL

Ugh.. I can't believe its been a week since I last posted. Things have been so crazy around here this week. I'm fighting off a nasty cold, I think Ashley might be catching it (keeping my fingers crossed shes not), and I have just been so busy I haven't found even 10 minutes to sit down and do a daily challenge! BLAH!! I've been searching online trying to find someways to make some extra cash and I found Google Adsense.. alot of people said they made some extra money using that so I figured I would try.. if you see an ad you like click on it and I'll make some money from it :)

Anyway we have another busy weekend ahead. I have 50 dozen dog treats to make.. I sold a bunch at my moms work and to friends and family and at my MIL's work plus I got a pet store that is willing to place a basket of them on their counter and sell them!! WOOHOO!! I really hope I can make some money doing this. I was thinking of starting a website but I'm afraid I would end up with more orders then I can handle.. like 50 dozen in 1 weekend! LOL

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I ended up not eating everything on my TT.. had the turkey, sweet potatoe, stuffing with gravy and a roll and I was done.. we ended up eating dessert later.. pumpkin pie of course.

I ended up staying home today and putting up the tree.. we have an artifical since both Dave and I are allergic to real trees so 9 chances out of 10 Ashley will end up allergic too. I must say it looks great.. I'll take a pic of it later to post. And I picked up Ashley's pics with Santa and OMG they are just adorable.. I need my brother to scan them for me so I can post them but they are just so cute!!

So this is going to be a busy weekend. Tomorrow we need to go to Kmart for some stuff for Ashley and just to check if they have any good sales and then at 5 we are going to my aunts 50th b-day party. Sunday we are getting up bright and early.. going to MILs to do a little work for her and then going shopping.. I'm hoping to get all my shopping done by the end of the day Sunday so I can just relax and enjoy the rest of the season. Anyway onto the SPH....

This weeks theme: TIME

I had so many ideas for this theme but with no working scanner I couldn't scan anything in so I looked back through my photos I have online from my digi camera and found this one...

I took it on one of my many trips to NY with my brother.. we had taken a trip on Circle Line Cruises .. it took us all around the harbor and around the statue of liberty.. and I took this shot of the WTC.. everytime we went there I took pics of it. And I kept trying to think of how this would represent time and I guess to me it shows how times have changed.. who would have ever thought back in the old days that one day the US would be under attack? And it shows how these times have changed me.. I am so paranoid when my hubby goes to work that something will happen to him and the thought of my baby going to school one day in the world we live in now terrifies me.. and you know by the time she goes to school it will only be worse. But anyway... last time we were there all you saw were lights shining up from where those towers stood and I guess it just makes you wish for a simpler TIME!
